Minifigures
  • Elrond (new) - This newer variation of Elrond minifigure is cool. His face looks older than the predecessor. He comes with crowned elf hair piece and council uniform markings version. A kind of long handled gold sickle and a light brown cape are equipped to him.
  • Arwen (new) - She is a brand new minifigure in LoTR line. She got a dark elvish hair and slop skirt pieces. The markings on her face and body are nice. She equipped with a bow.
  • Frodo Baggins - He only got new printed angry expression on one side of his dual faces. While the rest is the same as 2 Frodo Baggins minifigure that was released last year. His trademark sword, Sting is equipped to him.
  • Gimli - There is nothing new about him. He equipped with a battle axe.
The Council of Elrond
The Fellowship Gathering Place - This iconic place is pretty accurate to the movie. It comes with a table where the Fellowship put the One Ring (The ring is also included) that surrounded by 3 cool swiveling chairs and a simple tree with dark orange and sand green leave pieces. There is also a throwing mechanism to reenact the scene when Gimli tossed after trying to destroy the ring with his battle axe.

Rivendell Structure - The Rivendell structure part is really well designed. It has very nice new arches parts. Two grey microfigure, A weapon rack, and a tree are also included to it.

This preview is based on the images and video coverage of LEGO® The Lord of the Rings™ 79006 The Council of Elrond when displayed in 2013 NY Toy Fair from FBTB Flickr Stream and YouTube channel.
